AU where Daud sticks really closely to his new no-kill policy but he keeps finding himself in extremely damning situations out of sheer lack of luck

Daud keeps escaping arrest only to get himself in the exact same situation three days later

Daud goes to buy groceries and someone shoots the cashier in the face. The Watch find Daud covered in blood.

Daud squats in an empty flat and some random criminals fleeing from the Watch hide there, get into an argument and kill each others. Daud finds two dead bodies in his flat.

Someone slides from a high wall and kill themselve in the fall. Daud look down to see if they need help and passerbies all think he pushed the poor fella.

There's a locked room murder and Daud gets in with his power just to explore/steal shit/investigate and the instant he sets foot in the room the guards bash in. it's like uncharted; something has been completely unfound/locked/untouched forever but the second you get there EVERY hostile ever is there

Every single time Corvo is called in as reinforcement because he's the only one on Daud's level. He thinks it's hilarious.

corvo has to try to stop emily from murdering daud or having him executed as soon as he enters prison every time he's arrested

one time corvo gets called to be reinforcements emily intercepts it and goes instead (much to the watch's ummmm). And everyone's waiting for the cool corvo daud fight to happen but instead Em shows up and daud is like ok arrest me no fighting i'm not fighting her
