pokemon au where daud is the evil team leader (dark and steel type but he also has a wailmer for /cough cough/ reasons). except u dont play as corvo u play as emily who escapes the Cats, saves her dad, and beats everyone up bc pokemone protag

Does he also want to get [enter legendary] for [stupid reason] too? oh yea he wants to get [insert legendary] for [obnoxious reasons tied to his obnoxious ideology] but as u get closer and closer to him it become apparent that he regrets what he's doing bc he can't take back jess dying

whalers are the grunts ofc

first 'gym' are the twins (the prostitutes smuggle her the starters) and uhhh they're poopy easy

she runs out and meets granna rags, who is, drum roll please, her rival. give her runes first healing items, etc, tells her to go to the river. where sam (mentor/professor figure) is waiting. sam is like "wtf! u were missing for literally forever and your dad royal protector is about to be execute- oops did I say that out loud" emily is like !!!!! i have to save corvo! falls asleep immediately

void twink shows up, emily fights and has the opportunity to capture some psychic/dark types in the void, outsider just constantly has a weird wailord behind him at all times. wakes up

sam pulls the "youre like 11 u cant do this", emily pulls the "this is a pokemon game ONLY 11 year olds can do this", gets into the prison through pokemon logic, saves corvo, has a horde of rattatas (who love her ofc) carry corvo to the river bc he is too big for her to carry, to a sam who is hyperventilating bc he has gained and lost one (1) lady Emily in quick succession. its a tight fit between corvo, emily, sam, and her army of rattatas, but they make it work.

sam is like "i know a couple guys... (cough cough I dont like them and they arent the best in fact they are very shady but I live on this boat and have nothing to help you) and I will bring u to them"

they arrive at hound pits pub. pierro is still shop, callista is nurse joy, idk what teams the loyalists have guys i know like three (3) pokemon but theyre stronk bc theyre the final boss. they obv sense the pokemon protagonist vibe from emily and sends her on missions even tho theyre CAPABLE ADULTS bc pokemon logic

emily saves martin, the overseers have houndooms (except for this one guys who smuggled his herdier to work). granna rags shows up and rivals her with inferior pokemon and gets dunked on

dont need to do the golden cat mission again bc by pokemon logic anyone who has lost a pokemon battle is dead to the eyes of man. she still meets slackjaw sometime somewhere and immediately promotes him to Cool Uncle who is trying to be tough while still showering her with free healing items

she goes on the sokolov mission and instead of hearing rumors about sokolov being creepy creepy and into the occult, she hears rumors of this--legendary pokemon? that can generate a lot of energy? in the shape of a whale? and maybe have helped kickstart the whale oil boom? and apparently sokolov is investigating this? she knocks him out by merit of being Awesome™️ and carries him out, per tradition, with her army of rattatas. sokolov is DISGUSTED and emily is OFFENDED that her family is insulted like this so she unleashes them onto him in the cage, and he caves and admits that yes, there is something they're trying to capture, he's been trying to get it for years (obsession with the occult except now it's the outsider/wailord)

oh and lady boyle. she's involved bc she signs his checks. emily smuggles herself in using pokemon logic (finds her rival's journal) signs her name on the ledger, steals a few healing items from the kitchens, whips lord shaw and lord Creepy's ass, saves the three ladies boyle (first unova gym style). they also tell her that the wailord is also tied to the royal bloodline (and thats why jess is killed)

corvo is bedridden this whole time btw bc he needs it

emily goes to h*ram! beats his ass! everything's great! corvo is even awake when she gets back! she takes the apple juice

wakes up to the whalers discussing whaler things. important note: the whalers have the mannerisms of Team Dim Sun in this au

"oh no! a body! what do we do!"

"hide it, ovbiously! we can't let daud know!"

(hides emily's body)

"wait, i think she's still breathing..."

"damn, really thought we could get away with it."

"what do we do now."

"should we tell daud?"

"no."

"but he's going to find out anyways."

"... okay."

"let's show him the body."

(goes off screen, returns)

"i thought you were carrying the body!"

"i thought you were!"

"... i think she's waking up."

"oh."

"let's knock her out again."

emily wakes up to her army of rattatas, she sweeps the whalers, gets to daud, beats his badonker ass. he gives her the master ball (that he stole from delilah) and wishes her luck. emily saves Slackjaw, defeats her rival one last time, gets to Sam who is very glad to see her, has access to shop (Piero) and nurse joy (Callista) one last time before the final battle

she goes. everything is the same except havelock is more obsessed with the void whailmer's powers and is literally going to sacrifice corvo to summon the outsider. emily saves corvo ofc, but outsider is still summoned. yall know the drill. havelock is defeated and falls off the tower, outsider/wailord is masterballed (she names him uwu), corvo recovers, the end

oh uh forgot to add that outsider gave emily the heart in their first encounter. it just helps emily find healing items in the various maps. and creeps everyone out so they think she's edgy

in the other version of the game u play as daud, the crusty 42 year old. with daud youre automatically in extremely difficult mode bc he's not 11. also all his pokemon left him/were dejected after jess' death, so he has to get new ones

in the slaughterhouse they're not bleeding the wailmer dry (bc thats too dark for pokemon) but they do experiment on it. daud goes from "i am only saving you out of pity" to "if anyone hurts him i will kill everyone in this room and then myself"

his rival is billie bc billie thinks he's a pussy for losing all of his pokemon. she is nearly impossible to beat bc daud doesnt have 11 year old pokemon protagonist magic

daud goes to the legal district, finds the old sick lady's neglected bisharp, adopts it.

arrives back at base and... yea things have happened, except this time everyone has pokemon for emotion support so everything's 200% better. daud defeats billie (rival) and meets delilah (bitch). billie leaves. daud's rival is now his own grumpy mental illness

thomas offers him a starter right before he goes to fetch lizzy and he doesnt even argue. he saves lizzy, finds a neglected absol somewhere in the prison. he goes "no we're not getting another one!" but his pokemon have other ideas

geezer milk time. so he goes to geezer, finds nurse trimble (who is flanked by many many fairy types, which makes daud distrust him). goes in sewers, fights a grass/fairy/psychic witch grunts. comes back to a clefairy crying in the corner bc trimble was being mean

daud: "THIS ONE ISNT EVEN DARK OR STEE-"

his pokemon: "one of us, one of us, one OF US"

daud does not add clefairy to his team. he is, however, coerced into pokeballing the poor fellow. he shanks more witches! shanks the ship dude who betrayed lizzie

goes to brigmore manor. where the witches have a new variant of houndoom, who is dark/ghost type. he captures a darkrai bc why not. shanks delilah's ass (after stealing her master ball ofc)

goes back home with his pokemon not angry at him this time. "sir there's an 11 year old on the property."
