thinking abt the one time i almost started a fanction au thing where it was the dh2 plotline except modern day and instead of the kaldwins being the Royal Family they were a mafia family.

the outsider is basically the same and does the same shit hes literally just here for the chaos except in this version hes eating popcorn everytime anyone is talking to him.

with delilah and her coup instead of it being a royal coup it sorta turns into a gang war.

The howlers is a Sort of rival gang but theyre in different territory so they dont mess with each other.

And also theres more of a look of the infighting between delilah and the rest of the family with the guards being various members instead of just Guards. Delilah is definitely a hostile takeover. Might prompt outward investigation cause all the sudden mob violence is rising. She probably pisses off everyone emily had deals with and so everyone starts turning on each other.
