I’ve been having Lord Shaw as a fave recently so i wanted to take the time to share my current headcanons before i write too many of them
>He suffers from anger and anxiety issues, he would be a “calm” dude until you’ve told him/made something he doesn’t like. He’ll snap at you without hesitation. His nervous twitches and palpitations are some symptoms of his usual stress.
>He plays violin to cope with his problems!!!!! He also composes music as a way to portray his feelings.
>He likes mystery novels and dreamed to be a detective as a kid, this interest is not as strong as it was back then but he occasionally reads mystery novels. He’s also interested in astrology and stargazing, often goes out at night to observe the stars and doodle constellations (even though he has the skill of a toddler)
>He does some shady shit. Definitely not murder, of course, he doesn’t like getting his hands dirty, but ran things like trading business (maybe a group for sharing confidential information of the “government” of the other Isles), or something equally risky that led to his business failing and him to obtain money in other ways. Or maybe things like money laundering and wine fraud (special thanks for Custy for helping in the creation of this hc in DMs). Lord Brisby is involved with these things too.
why tf does the Lord Shaw and Lord Brisby "friendship" feel like Pinky and the Brain
>His and the Pendleton’s parents were friends a while back, hence Montgomery and Pendletwins and Treavor being forced to interact. Him and Treavor weren’t really the best of friends until he was shot by the twins during a hunting day thing, instead of helping the kid, Shaw only pointed and laughed at him, and that’s around where their rivalry started. I also think Shaw and the twins would get to be closer friends after that, for having a common “enemy”, but I’m not very sure.
i feel like the twins and Lord Shaw aren't like best buds but it's an enemy mine thing of them both hating Treavor, and there's so much fun that could be had with that Like first off the twins and Shaw just. Playfully bullying each other it's that mean kind of friendship? Constantly chucking insults at each other and stuff. and also just. Idk them always teaming up together to pull shit on Treavor bc they work better in packs

>He likes the winter!!!!!!! Because he likes to be out in the snow and drinking hot coco in front of a warm fireplace, it reminds him of when he was a kid and didn’t have all the problems he has now
>I know this is cliche as hell but i think he’d be a very grumpy guy but deep inside he wants to hold hands with someone and go on a walk on the park with that person
Would Shaw be a "god I love my wife" man or a "god I hate my wife" man O.O? I wanna lead more towards "love my wife" since he was willing to risk his life in a duel cause a certain stinky man made a mean comment towards her but hmmmmmm.
I think both. Somehow simultaneously hates and loves her with his whole soul. "I hate you so much I'm gonna go out and buy you flowers to prove how much I hate you >: (".
imo Shaw is a "god i love my wife" man. period. idk idk gonna take the opportunity to say i got a design for his wife and i love her.
He'd wear a shirt like this in public.
