Description:
Do you guys think it would be cool if the outsider had a similar kind of omnipotence as flowey from undertale.
He sees all the choice you’ve ever made. Not just this low chaos run, but the high chaos one before it and the previous one before that. And his comments at the shrines and in the void hit a little closer to home regarding your current choices and the ones before that.
If you go high --> low chaos outsider is like bruh you still murdered all these people in your previous run, wadda hell. Reverse it's like bruh what went wrong?
“Do you regret your actions corvo?, enough to try and turn back the clock to make it seem like it never happened?”
“Well ill let you in on a secret corvo, it still happened, no matter how many people you save and how many timelines you erase the void still remembers and all that blood is still on your hands”
Maybe if you're always low chaos/never did high chaos the Outsider is either impressed thoroughly or annoyed that you don't wanna fuck shit up
“Im impressed corvo, throughout all of this carnage time and time again you never once broke, never once spilled a drop of innocent blood”
big brain moment. playing high chaos and then switching over to low chaos. something something “did you really regret your actions that much?”. Commenting on callista’s death and samuel’s disappointment and what not
alternatively, him being extremely saddened and disappointed if you switch from low to high
As you get into dishonored 2 and play as emily the Outsider begins to describe all the timelines Corvo destroyed and rewrote to save her. She realizes that she has this power now. And she wonders what to do with it and if she should even use it at all.
Emily seeing the hc timelines and being in denial "No, my father isn't that kind of man. He would never do that..."
why the fuck would the marked have the power to overwrite millions of actual real lives. Its based on the outsider having someone’s interest. He grants that power with the mark if he chooses. It brings a whole lot more meaning to Daud’s “ive made my choices, im ready for what comes”
If you keep doing high chaos the outsider is like "how many people have to die, corvo? Is this truly what you wanted? What would jessamine or emily say? Tell me corvo, are you satisfied with the outcome? You've drowned empire in a sea of blood, and tell me, once the smoke from the burning cities clears, when it's all over, will you realize what you've done, you sick bastard? Or will you regain control by crushing well deserved rebellions beneath your boots. You can't run away from this on an outbound ship you know. Every choice you made leading you here made ripples, stoking the fire burning in Morley's hearts. Maybe you'll reverse time and pretend this never happened at all. No matter what you do corvo, I'll remember. The void will remember. Good riddance."
If you go low chaos dh2 corvo after hc dh corvo that the outsider is all "I see you've learned your lesson corvo, but will serkonos truly be your salvation? Remember what you did to get here, because I remember everything."
I dont think he would go as far as to actually call corvo a sick bastard outright but he would definitely imply it im sure. The Outsider tries to maintain his stoicism and such strong words outright, he's more of an implying kinda guy ye, wants you to draw your own conclusions from what he said
