Did I talk about Thomas’ love for books?

He loves reading!! Especially about amphibians and reptile because he thinks they’re cool!!! He had a little pet lizard as a kid and it’s one of the good things from his childhood.

Also he can’t read sheet music! He has a good ear though. He likes sitting on rooftops and just,, playing a little tune on his guitar quietly. He’s very shy about his guitar playing! He rarely plays it around the others

Thomas is really good at meal prep but can't really cook that good. Like he can take all the bones out of a fish and clean it out well but it alwas comes out slightly burnt, slightly undercooked, or not enough seasoning.

If given a recipe he can make it perfectly, offhanded though? Not a chance

Thomas remade Corv's mom's stew and spiced bread recipe (from daud corv friend au) and somehow perfected it. He makes it for Daud’s birthday or whenever he's sad to cheer him up. Corv hears this when dauds like bro you gotta taste this stew my son made it and corv does and immediately does a fucking double take bc wtf that's my moms recipe. So corvs like lemme see ur son and asks thomas how he got the recipe and thomas was like "??? My dad gave it to me sir"

Thomas is totally the making bread on the reg type. Both to go with dauds tea (pumpkin, banana, other sweet breads) and to make sandwiches or have soup with (sourdough, crossed buns, etc)

Thomas can do ballet but is shy about it until he learns that he can now gracefully kick people and knock em out. characters who fight with ballet styles >>>> literally everyone and everything else.

Thomas one time found a lil cat by the hideout and took the cat in. He named them Mimi. He kept feeding and taking care of her but one day she disappeared. He tried looking for her around the flooded district but no luck. After a few months she came back but not alone. She had a few baby kittens with her and that's how Thomas became a cat lady

Thomas made several blankets, scarves, hats, and sweaters for the younger whalers that he gets paired with on missions, he doesn't want his little siblings getting cold
