he tied daud together with just like a shoelace and daud just doesn't break out just to be polite. until the situation demands it, like corvo gets spotted because he's carrying a whole ass other 6 foot tall man

Daud wakes up a bit before they arrive at the Hound's Pit and it goes "What the fuck why are you kidnapping me" "Look dude, I cannot stress enough how little brain power I am using right now"

So Corvo carries Daud away. Daud wakes up at some point, and after collecting some of his wits he realizes he's tied up with a shoelace tied in the kind of knot that can only be accomplished by thoroughly wasted individuals. On the other hand, it's Corvo fucking Attano carrying him like a sack of potato, and the guy managed to choke him out without being detected.

Daud is half tempted to go back to sleep on Corvo's shoulder just so he doesn't have to deal with the situation.
