Though Pull needs a line of vision on the target, and has a range. And you'd need at least 3 days before the target dies of thirst, so what, Daud spends 3 days holding a Pull without sleeping or walking away? That seems like overkill when breaking the person's limbs and jaw works just as well

daud would totally justbreak their jaw/legs and leave them to starve *looks at that one overseer in the flooded district*

going off of that, you can grip things with pull. and apparently somewhat control that grip strength. sooo... he could go full darth vader on someone. strangle someone with pull. daud darth vader-ing burrows or some bastard in mind bc fuck that they need a reminder that he is terrifying

There's a traitor. And there are a few others who aren't traitors, but who doubt, as it often happens when there's a betrayal attempt

Daud puts the doubters up to Pull Traitor duty. So it's 1) a reminder of what happens when you betray him and 2) a test of loyalty
