jessamine does a meeting like monarchs in movies and corvo walks to the front of the line and kisses her hand and everyones like "this guy just jumped in front of hufflestenrumplefrable or whoever" and then he stands and walks next to her and theyre like "of shit thats her guard???"

also Jessamine working on papers and laws well into the night corvo walks into the study with tea and just,,, gently grabs her hand and kisses it and hands her the tea. and he sits next to her and its quiet and theyre tired but she reaches over and grabs his hand and kisses it back

and what if its the first time shes done it? hes started out doing it as a means of respect and then as they grew closer he starts trying to make the most of the contact and she kisses his hand back and its suddenly her saying 'i love you back' and he doesnt think he should deserve it his hands are scarred, he protected her for so long and she just kisses his hand back, the symbol of his loyalty and love for her and she kisses him back????
