Billie the Outsider Au.

Billie makes it to the void and decides that the outsider didnt deserve this. He didnt ask to become this nearly omnipotent god being. So she has daud speak his name to him and he is freed.

But theres a problem. When the cultists made him this thing 4000 years ago they cut his throat, and its still bleeding Its like he said himself, some wounds stay with you even in the void. He bleeds out in billie’s arms as he smiles just fucking smiles and thanks her.

Billie doesnt know what to do, he whole mission up to this point was to kill him until she changed her mind and he just fucking died anyway. The void is SCREAMING all around her without its avatar. She realizes that the void needs an avatar to keep it contained and in check. She eyes the knife beside her and then looks at the spirit of her father in all but blood. She merely says “I’m sorry” before cutting her own throat with the twin bladed knife.

She can feel the blood running out as her body feels weaker and weaker. And then, she wakes up in the void on some random island that feels older than it should. But she knows something isnt right, she can feel all of the void around her as it shifts and changes in a chaotic manner. So she merely sits at the edge of the island and watches the void shift.

She doesnt know how much time passes before she grows bored, could have been years, could have been centuries. But eventually she gets up and starts viewing the human world, she can’t recognize anyone there. She finds someone who looks interesting and pulls them into the void “Hello” she says “I am the outsider, and this is my mark”. And a strange rune burns to life as the void howls in tandem with the whale song around them
