idk if its canon if they split the roles post dh2 bc they NEED to and dh2 showed that. How didn't he burn out... probably why he missed an entire coup getting arranged under his nose lol. YEAH he kinda did??? he couldnt keep enough tabs bc of his paranoia from dh1 re betrayal and missed the signs :(

I feel like Emily NEEDED to send Corvo away to Serkonos so she could actually rule and become responsible. and just let her tired knife dad chill out in the sun a bit. i feel like this is important as well, bc for all corvos training emily is STILL sheltered and theres some things he wouldnt be able to teach her? like idk billie guiding her a bit more through karnaca, like what the social norms are and stuff yknow?

Armando seems pretty capable too though. Duke Corvo... idk if he can balance the weight an entire state's people on his shoulders. We have enough evidence that this doesn't end well. No shade Corvo ily but also... Just rest

I always leave Corvo with a full council so between him, Hypatia, Stilton, the Overseer dude and Paolo, he's got good support

ive also said before but all the targets in dh2 have PERSONAL meaning for billie (alex ->kidnap sokolov; jindosh -> tortured sokolov; breanna -> past with delilah; stilton seance -> her best friend went missing; luca -> again, obvs bc he helped kill her gf; delilah -> again. obvs) so idk i also like. billie having a more leading role in dh2 for that reason as wlel

billie in dh2 helping emily a bit more and emntoring her in ways corvo could not. emily after, seeing billies skills in dh2, offers her for spymaster

billie using her new contacts as spymaster to discreetly find daud,,,,, and make amends

Daud gets a vineyard. sometimes he lives with his mom and sunbathes nude on the balcony. sometimes he's Corvo's spymaster

i wish post-Dh2 Billie and Emily had stayed in contact/together. i just think that was a really important relationship for both of them. Billie had a lot she could have taught Emily, about the people, about information-gathering, etc. and it would have progressed her character development/growth

YEAH!! bc realistcally emily wouldnt have had training like that in dunwall - she could only go out at night and shes so recognisable and stuff

I also am just :D at the idea of Billie being Spymaster in Dunwall and Daud being Spymaster in Karnaca, sending each other secret coded notes, sharing intel

Also just realized that Corvo loses his mark in the Emily playthrough and apparently doesn't get it back. Or maybe he does, who knows. I don't. So in that way, Emily's also his successor? I want them to banter in the notes

YEAH Delilah rips his Mark off him. turns him to stone. presumably the OS gives it back to him afterwards but I also hc that Corvo rejects it when it's offered. he's Tired and just wants to relax, walk around without a giant heretic brand on the back of his hand for once

OH but the power imbalances between duke corvo and spymaster daud - the unmarked duke and the marked spymaster who killed the previous empress. there would be SO much TRUST ISSUES there for obvious reasons but also corvo wouldnt be able to stop daud if he needed to

Love the idea of Daud stealing from Duke Corvo's pantry even though he works there and could just request a fully ready meal

although emily isnt an idiot, there are things she just. doesnt know. she found some coins as she left the tower and knows not to pay using large coins to avoid suspicion (aka pay in small change). but shes still suprised when billie slaps the five 10 coins out of her hands

"you cant use that"

"why not? its small change, its not suspicious"

"5 shiny new coins arent suspicious in a place like this? use these instead, ill get some less... distinctive money for you" nd billie gives emily some grubby coins, dulled by age. one of them has her mother on them.
