Description:

Daud plays Backgammon. He also plays chess. He plays chess with Billie when they plan their attacks. For dramatic effect. Daud teaches a young Billie how to play chess, and usually she doesn't beat him.....until they reunite in DOTO.

He also plays poker and thinks he’s really good at it but all the whalers are better than him. They got so much practice at the base. Despite Daud being...well..Daud he doesn't have a good poker face.

The whalers cheat at Okey

Jindosh says he can play chess without looking at the board but in reality he sets up the lights in the room to create a shadow so he can cheat. He walks into the assessment chamber and slaps a board down next to Sokolov. "We're playing". In reality Jindosh is really bad at chess and Sokolov is really good and Sokolov’s true torture is watching Jindosh fuck up every turn. No matter how hard Sokolov tries to lose, Jindosh is just so impossibly bad. Jindosh would have a clear way to checkmate but completely ignores it
