Delilah shows up at the beginning just like normal and says she’s there to claim the throne

Except this time Emily is just a little more tired of everything and everyone so when Delilah appears and says she’s gonna be empress Emily personally guides her to the fuckin throne and says “Thank the outsider i was losing my fuckin mind”

Delilah is suspicious but still goes along with the “coup” and starts her reign as empress

Emily is so fuckin happy she can finally devote all her time to wyman and they go out on a date to celebrate.

Corvo is a bit more suspicious about who exactly delilah is so he starts digging a bit, because he didnt protect emily for the past 15 years without developing a healthy case of paranoia after all. He finds out she used to live at the old brigmore manor but then Daud showed up one day and something happened but nobody knows what

Corvo wants answers, he’s not gonna trust Delilah being around Emily without them. So he decides to take a vacation with Em and Wyman along with his most trusted guards who weren’t a part of the coup

Meanwhile Delilah is living it up as empress, inviting all her “daughters” to live with her at the tower as she starts to set the real plan into motion

Corvo finds Daud in a fishing town in Tyvia and asks him about delilah, Daud tells him how she was a witch who had stranger powers than both of them and how she tried to posses Emily before, he also tells Corvo about how he tried and apparently failed to kill delilah. They leave him be, corvo wants to think Daud is truly done with all of this. But some part of him thinks there still 1 kill left in daud. Now Corvo is even more suspicious about how delilah survived, and maybe even a little envious

Its here that billie shows up after finally tracking them down, they’ve been very careful of covering their tracks, and tells them how she and sokolov were looking into the crown killings because they thought it had a connection to delilah but then sokolov got kidnapped

So billie and corvo set off to end the conspiracy while Emily and Wyman enjoy their vacation

Saving Hypatia makes corvo fell a little better about himself, while wiping jindosh’s mind makes that dark part of corvo laugh with glee. He saves Stilton from seeing beyond, while also switching out the dukes

By the time he heads back to collect Emily and Wyman and tell them about everything and then to head back to the Tower he starts hearing strange things about dunwall, like how witches have moved into the tower and the abbey was destroyed trying to stop them.

They finally make it to the tower and they all bust in and find Daud there fighting against delilah, but he’s outmatched. He’s gotten old and weak while she’s at the top of her game.

They return her soul to her and she fight back even harder against all of them. She’s about to kill Wyman when Emily screams “No!” and shoves her copy of the folding blade through Delilah’s heart, killing her and taking her rightful place as empress, finally living up to her responsibilities
