which brings me to a funky au im tentatively titling emily the executioner bc judge jury and executioner was too long, where she keeps pointing the heart at people and deciding then and there if they die.

emily constantly asking her mom for advice because she thinks jess was so much better at the whole being an empress thing, she must know everything, right? she is forced to free jess from the heart and just feels so fucking lost. she feels like a scared child again, alone and missing her parents. and fucking delialahs there to bitch

cause while she was without corvo the whole time, she at least had jess' voice. 15 years to the dayalmost since she WATCHED her mother grts murdered and she can hear her voice again??? just a fragment, not the whole thing, but still a soothing calmin voice, giving some advice and insights. like do u think emily asks the heart if shes proud of her??? emily just telling the heart how much she misses her. like so much time has passed sinxe jess died, emily is a Full Woman now but young and still finding her path in life and she suddenly can speak to the person shes missed so much over the past 15 years
