We have Google Apps for Work which means that all of our email addresses are linked through Google. This means you can access your emails through Gmail. We recommend you use Gmail instead of Outlook.
1. Open the Gmail account that you want to forward from
2. At the top right, click the gear Settings
3. Select Settings
4. Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
5. Click Add a forwarding address in the Forwarding section
6. Enter the email address you want to forward to
7. For your security, we'll send a verification email to that address. Open your other email account and find the confirmation message from the Gmail team. If you’re having trouble finding it, check your Spam folder
8. Click the verification link in that email
9. Back in your Gmail account, reload the page in your web browser - look for the reload icon Reload
10. On the same Forwarding and POP/IMAP page in Settings, check that Forward a copy of incoming mail is selected and your email address is in the drop-down menu
11. In the second drop-down menu, choose what you want Gmail to do with your messages after they’re forwarded, such as keep Gmail’s copy in the Inbox (recommended) or archive Gmail’s copy
12. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page
Visit the Google Help article Change email notifications
To send a message either click on Compose or go into an email and click Reply. For more information watch the video.
Instructions / video to be added here
Open Gmail
In the top-right corner, click the gear icon
Select Settings
In the General Tab, scroll down to the Desktop Notifications section
Choose one of the options
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page
If you make a typo or regret sending a message, you can undo the action by enabling "Undo send." This setting gives you the option to take back a message you just sent.
To enable Undo Send:
1. Click the gear in the top right
2. Select Settings
3. Scroll down to Undo Send and click Enable
4. Set the cancellation period (the amount of time you have to decide if you want to unsend an email)
5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page
6. If you had Undo Send turned on in Gmail Labs, your Undo Send setting will be on by default
Note: To give you time to undo, Gmail delays sending the message for a few seconds. So if you don't select Undo within the time limit, your message will be sent. Undo send may not work if you experience connection issues.
Once you have sent an email, at the top of the screen is a notification saying you email has been sent. If Undo Send is enabled, there will the option next to it to select Undo.
