What: This process shows you how to add or remove a Juicy contact to our main subscriber list
When: This process is done in any instance that a client needs to be manually added or removed from the newsletter list
Why: This process is completed to addor remove subscribers to the list that get sent the monthly newsletter
In most cases, anyone who has filled out a form on our website or who has been added as a new client in Juicy will be added to our mailing list automatically. They will also be removed if they click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any of our marketing emails. However, you can use the steps below to add or remove someone manually if needed.
Log in to Juicy and navigate to Contacts in the left hand menu bar.
Search for the contact using the Quick Search feature, then click on their name to open the contact card
Scroll down in the left hand panel of the contact card until you see the ‘tags’ field.
Type ‘Savvy Mailing List’ into the tags field, and select the pre-existing ‘Savvy Mailing List’ tag.
As long as there is no ‘Email Unsubscribe’ tag also in the ‘Tags’ field, the client is now added to our mailing list.
Scroll down in the left hand panel of the contact card until you see the ‘tags’ field.
Type ‘Email Unsubscribe’ into the tags field, and select the pre-existing ‘Email Unsubscribe’ tag.
The ‘Email Unsubscribe’ will override the ‘Savvy Mailing List’ tag, however to keep things clean and organised, if the client has an existing ‘Savvy Mailing List’ tag listed, you can remove that at this time by clicking the x next to it. The client has now been removed from our mailing list.
