As part of your employment with Strictly Savvy, you have access to free health insurance with nib Health if you choose to opt-in.
The plan is nib Premier Health with a $1,000 excess, however Strictly Savvy will cover the first $500 of the excess, bringing the cost of a claim down to just $500 if a team member needs to make a claim. This allows them to go private should they need surgery, instead of having to wait to be seen on the public waiting list.
You can learn more about what is and what is not covered from the information below, and/or you can be put in contact directly with our Group Adviser Debbie at Lifetime who can discuss things fruther with you or look into any queries you may have.
The cover is supplied through nib nz limited and is supported by our adviser at Lifetime, Debbie Radford.
This health scheme also has cover for pre-existing medical conditions. While there are some exclusions, for most medical conditions there is full coverage.
Benefits to join:
Pre-existing cover for medical conditions
Cover for surgical events and specialist & tests associated with surgery for six months before and six months after surgery
You can upgrade to a higher plan level
Family members can be added to your plan, (spouse and children under the age of 20). Pre-existing cover is also available to family members.
To upgrade the plan or add family members will however be at your cost, but we cover your base cover. The attached brochures show what you are covered for and the benefits of the plan along with premium pricing.
However, you are more than welcome to have a chat with Debbie to discuss the plan. Some things you may want to consider talking to them about - further details about what's covered in the plan, enquiring about their other insurances such as life/income insurance, add-ons you can get, or if you would like to upgrade or add your family members. If you would like to, you can reach out to Debbie at debbie.radford@lifetime.co.nz.
We would also recommend speaking to Debbie if you have existing cover, as she can compare and let you know which coverage is better - even if that means sticking with your current provider.
