This tool is used by some of our clients to manage tasks and projects. We have a few boards set up within Trello for internal use as well.

Click on your name in the top right hand corner
Click Profile
Click Settings
Click Change Notification Email Frequency
Select which option you would like.
Please note: Trello doesn't have the option of which type of emails you would like to receive. If you would like to receive notifications of due dates select Periodically or Instantly. They won't send you emails that often - only when there is a change of something you aren't aware of, a due date is coming up or you haven't been into your boards for a while.
We use Trello boards as a way for everyone to be able to know who is doing what tasks, add tasks / checklist and for clients to be able to monitor what tasks have been started/done.
