Liaise with your the General Manager or your Team Leader to check whether it is appropriate to leave work at that time and to ensure another VA is available to cover you while you are gone.
Like with any type of leave from the office, you need to enter it in the calendar so the team are aware:
In Outlook go to your calendar, and find the day/s of when your appointment takes place. At the top of that day click into the space below the date, and above the time
At the top of the calendar entry change it from your calendar to the Leave & Absences calendar. If you are having a day or part day off, then create a note at the top of the day. If you are leaving for an appointment during the day enter it for the time it is, eg 3-4pm
Enter the details of your leave/appointment in the following format: [Name] [Leave Type] - [Date/Time] eg "Rochelle - Appointment 9-11am" and invite yourself to the event. This will add it to your the Leave & Absences calendar and your calendar, without declining the event if someone else has already entered in leave for that day
Note: When you accept someone's leave invite always choose the "do not send the response" option, so the person who sent the invite out doesn't get bombarded by email responses.
