Who: This process is for the Office Administrator to undertake
What: It shows you how to reactivate a past client in Harvest
When: Undertake this process whenever a former client comes back onboard or signs up for more project work
Why: This process is completed to reactivate a client's information so that either a new timer can be set up in Harvest or an old timer can be unarchived, so that VAs can track their time to that client, and we can invoice them accurately at the end of each month or when a project is completed
In Harvest click on the Manage tab
Click on View Archived Clients >
Use Ctrl+F to search for the client. Note: there are several pages and the search will only cover names on the current page, so you may need to search the other pages to find the client you are looking for
Once found click on the Restore button to the left of their name
Once you have restored the client you can create a new timer, as detailed here, or restore an old timer as detailed below

In Harvest click on the Projects tab
In the search bar at the top right-hand corner, type in the name of the client
From the drop-down click on the archived project you want to restore
Above the name of the project you will see a section that says that the timer is Archived, and that you can't track time or expenses to this archived project. Beside this is the word Restore - click on this and the project will be unarchived.
You will now be able to edit the project timer if needed - change the name, change the rates etc - save and track time to it straight away
