Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
To download a YouTube video put dl in front of the word YouTube in the URL and press enter.Â
e.g. if the URL is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prALrHUJ8Ns you would change it to be https://www.dlyoutube.com/watch?v=prALrHUJ8Ns
Set up the right channel name
Note: You can claim a channel name once you get to 100 subscribers so do everything you can to get 100 subscribers
Upload lots of videos frequently to keep the content recent
Create channel artwork
Add About text with a good call to action
Add social connection buttons / links that appear on the bottom right of the channel header
Add a welcome video
Ensure each video uploaded is optimised - Use a keyword rich title and is something that people are actually searching for. Start typing in the YouTube search bar the topic of the video and see what comes up as common searches.
Description - put in a link to the website or landing page that you want people to go to within the first two lines of the video description as this will show in the preview. Repeat the keywords you want to use or that you have in the title 3 times in the description. Also put in call to actions, links and social connects.
Add tags to the video - keywords
Add cards to the videos once you have enough subscribers - this appears as an i in the top right of the videos. You can have up to 5 call to actions.
Create playlists
Comment on related videos so people watching the videos then see you commenting and can watch yours too.
At the end of your videos tell your viewers what you want them to do eg. like, comment, share, subscribe. Create pre recorded intro and outro so editing becomes easier.

Open a guest chrome bar
Go to youtube.com
Sign in with the youtube@strictlysavvy.co.nz login details (in the Marketing folder in LastPass - ask the Office Administrator for access to the password if you do not have it)
Select the Strictly Savvy logo in the top right-hand corner of the page and then select 'Creator Studio' from the drop-down list that appears
5. You will now be in Strictly Savvy's Youtube channel where you can upload videos
Please note that if you are uploading any internal intranet videos they MUST BE UNLISTED
