Your assembly point is on the street at the far end of the other units (#1 and #17).
Teesha is the Chief Warden of our building. All team members to follow her instruction should we need to evacuate.Â
Our Warden is Rochelle. If Teesha is not present, follow Rochelle's intrustion.
Our nearest intersection is Alexander Road / George Daniels Drive.
In the event that you identify a fire, either the person that discovered the fire, the warden and/or the backup warden should:
Isolate the fire by shutting doors, if it is safe to do so.
Evacuate the building, checking rooms and toilets to ensure all Strictly Savvy staff, children and visitors have evacuated the building.
Go to the evacuation meeting spot at the far end of the George Daniels Dr units closer to the street (near units #1 and #17).
Check in with the Chief Warden to see if anyone has called 111.
If no one has called 111, call 111 and provide as many details as you can on the fire, location, type, size etc...
In the event that you identify a fire AFTER HOURS, especially if you are alone in the building after hours and there are no wardens:
If you feel it is safe to do so, clear the area and isolate the fire by shutting doors.
Evacuate the building.
Go to the evacuation meeting spot on the street at the far end of the other units.
If no one has called 111, call 111 and provide as many details as you can on the fire, location, type, size etc...
