What This Automation Does This scenario runs on a weekly schedule and automatically searches your Gmail drafts folder for blank or incomplete draft emails. Any drafts with no subject line, no recipient, and no meaningful body content are permanently deleted, keeping your drafts folder clean without any manual effort.

Apps Used

• Gmail - You will need the correct permissions to connect Make to your Gmail account

How It Works

1. Gmabil Search (First Module) searches your drafts folder and retrieves draft emails based on the filters you have set

2. Gmail Delete (Second Module) permanently deletes any drafts that pass through the filter conditions, meaning only blank or empty drafts are removed and any real work-in-progress drafts are left untouched

Scheduling

This automation is set to run every Friday at 2am, outside of business hours, so it won't interfere with any drafts you may be actively working on. This can be changed to a day and time that suits you, however we recommend keeping this on a weekly schedule to ensure your drafts folder stays consistently clear.
