THEO 610 Discussion Board Forums (2)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 750 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to at least 2 classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 225 words.

THEO 610 Interpretive Essays (3)

The student will write three 1,200-word research-based papers in current Turabian format that focus on the 3 topics outlined in the course. Each paper must include 2–3 scholarly sources in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.

THEO 610 God Dwells Among Us Reflection paper

The student will write a 1,200–1,500-word reflection paper on Beale’s God Dwells Among Us. The paper must follow current Turabian formatting. Outside sources are not required for this assignment, but if any sources are used, the student must footnote any citations and include a bibliography.

THEO 610 Biblical Theology Paper

The student will write a 2,000-word minimum, research-based paper in current Turabian format that provides a biblical theology for either the book of Ruth or Jonah. The paper must give a detailed explanation of the theological message of the book. The paper must include at least 8 scholarly sources in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.

THEO 610 Biblical Theology Topic Paper

The student will write a 2,000-word minimum, research-based paper in current Turabian format on a theme or topic in biblical theology. This paper is to be written as if the student were asked to contribute an article on the topic for a new dictionary of biblical theology. The paper must include at least 10 scholarly sources in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.
