EVCP 820 Discussion Board Forums (2)
Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 400 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge and biblical principles and/or Scripture. Any references must be in current Turabian format. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words.
Part 1
The student will locate 2 ministry leaders with whom he/she serves and conduct an analysis of each leader’s church or ministry using the provided Church Health Analysis Questionnaire. The student must also collect information regarding each participant’s credentials.
Part 2
Based on the analysis from Part 1 of this assignment, the student will write complete the church analysis and create a plan based on the instructions provided. Any references used must be in current Turabian format.
EVCP 820 Book Critique
The student will write Book Critique of at least 1,000 words on the Marshall and Payne text.
Annotated Bibliography
The student will research and compose a bibliography of at least 25 works related to the Leading a Healthy Church Paper in current Turabian format. Each source must also have a 1–3entence annotation.
Paper
The student will write a research paper of at least 4,500 words in current Turabian format that focuses on the idea of leading a healthy church with specific application to the student’s own ministry context. The student must cite at least 20 scholarly sources in current Turabian format in the paper.
EVCP 820 Strategic Budget Document
The student will create a realistic budget proposal regarding the budgeting of his/her time and his/her church’s/ministry’s finances. The student will follow a provided sample document to complete both budgets.
EVCP 820 Reading Quizzes (6)
Each quiz will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned module/week. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 1 short answer and 2–3 essay questions, and have a 1-hour time limit.
