RESP 320 Discussion Board Forums (5)
Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. The Discussion Board is a space for academic exchanges. As a result, you must check for proper and exacting punctuation, spelling, and grammar. In addition, you must reference all outside sources in correct citation format. It is crucial that all participants maintain a high regard for proper decorum in the Discussion Board. A grading rubric for Discussion Board responses is provided.
RESP 320 Paper
Case Report
For students who are Post-Licensure pathway and clinically take care of neonates, the student is to present an interesting case the last week of this semester. Ideally, it would be of a disease and therapy we have covered over the course, but alternative treatments and/or rare diseases is acceptable as well. For students who do not work with neonates or for Entry to Practice students, please skip to the Journal Article Review below. See requirements within the assignment instructions within BlackBoard.
Journal Article Review
For those of you who do not have access to pediatric patients, I would like for you to conduct a journal article review (preferably from Respiratory Care) of a topic we covered during the semester. Ideally, it would be within the last 5 years.
RESP 320 Exams (2)
There will be 2 exams. A mid-term and final exam. Each exam will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned module(s)/week(s). Each exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain 100 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a 3 hour time limit.
