Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 400–600 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 200–400 words.

The student will review 2 articles in this course. The articles will be preselected for the student. Each review must be at least 1 page and in current AMA format.

HLTH 636 Research Paper

This paper will be completed in 4 steps:

The student will submit a topic as a Word document in Blackboard with his/her name and the topic title on the first page.

HLTH 636 Works Cited

The student will submit a works cited list with at least 10 peer-reviewed references in current AMA format in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.

HLTH 636 Outline

The student will create an outline following a hierarchy using the template provided. The student may use short phrases for this assignment.

HLTH 636 Paper

The student will write a 12-page research-based paper in current AMA format that focuses on school health issues. The paper must include at least 10 peer-reviewed references in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible.

HLTH 636 Quizzes (4)

Each quiz will cover the Reading & Study material for assigned modules/weeks. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice and/or true/false questions, and have a 1-hour time limit.
