Complete a PowerPoint presentation for a proposed group you would like to lead (8 weeks), directing it to a hypothetical supervisor as if you were outlining the intended contents. You should include a global overview of the topic in addition to issues such as the group's collective demographics, duration of each meeting, number of meetings, goals and objectives, the rationale for the groups’ existence, inclusionary criteria for members, possible topics for group exploration and an outline of the content for each meeting. There should be a minimum of 40 visually appealing slides, with each slide including illustrations in the form of pictures, clip art, charts, etc. Cite all sources, including websites, in APA format in the footer of the slides, and then collect these references and append them on the last few slides in a standard reference format. Reference should be made in the presentation to at least 10 scholarly sources, in addition to any material taken from the textbooks, the Bible or popular sources. EDCO 711 Treatment Plan

Read the Paleg and Jongsma text, pages 1-10, and prepare a treatment plan covering the first four meetings of a group, using the format and materials in the text. This consists of a brief description of 1-2 paragraphs of a fictitious group with the primary presenting issue (PTSD, Sexual Trauma, Intimate Partner Violence, etc.) taken from the examples provided in the text. Select 3 short-term objectives for each meeting, and then select 2 or more therapeutic interventions to address each of these (4 meetings, 3 short-term objectives for each meeting, and then select 2 or more therapeutic interventions to address each objective).Remember that you are adapting the material from the Jongsma text to “your group,” and not developing new materials.
