The student is required to create a thread answering the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 200 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 100 words.

EVAN 401 Biblical Standard of Evangelism

The student will develop a ten-part document, 400-800 words total, affirming what they believe to be the essentials for the work of an evangelist. Because the assignment is a Biblical standard, not a research paper, no bibliography is needed. Instead, students should cite the Biblical reference parenthetically in the text.

EVAN 401 Counseling Video

The student will submit a 3-5 minute video on YouTube where he or she is giving Follow Up counseling after an evangelistic invitation. The assignment also has a written component where the student indicates the setting as well as the type of decision chosen for the presentation.

EVAN 401 Peer Review

The student will write a 2-3 page double-spaced Peer Review of a chapter from The Mission of an Evangelist textbook that is not a workshop or video. The review will follow a four-point (Author, Aim, Analysis & Assessment) format, and it can cover any multiple-page chapter not assigned as reading in the course.

EVAN 401 Discipleship Manual Outline

The student will outline a plan for discipling a new believer that includes topics, sessions, timelines, resources, and evaluations. Each part of the plan should be covered in one page making the project 5 pages long. Additional pages, such as appendices or handouts, can be added if needed.

EVAN 401 Quizzes (4)

The student will take an open-book/open-notes quiz every other week covering the Reading & Study content presented for that module. Each exam consists of randomized multiple-choice and true/false questions and has 75 possible points. The quiz must be completed within the 1-hour time limit.
