ADCN 505 Discussion Board Forum (1)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 400 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 200 words.

ADCN 505 Group Discussion Board Forums (6)

For this collaborative discussion board, the instructor will place the student into a group at the beginning of the course. The student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum, with video recorded responses to the appropriate material. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to a minimum of 2 other classmates’ threads. The final group discussion board will require a reply to each group member. Each reply must meet the expectations outlined for the particular reply prompts.

ADCN 505 Quizzes (7)

Each quiz is based on practice exercises within MyCounselingLab. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain multiple-choice, true/false and/or short answer questions, and have a 30-minute time limit.

The student will complete 4 self-evaluations during the course, considering his or her ratings of particular skills covered in this course.

ADCN 505 Session Evaluation (1)

The student will complete a session evaluation during the course, viewing and evaluating a professional on the skills covered in this course.
