The student will complete 3 Discussion Board forums in this course. Each student will post an initial thread of 400-500 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the assigned module for each DB. In addition, the student must then post 2 replies of 250 words by 11:59 (ET) on the Monday of the next module/week (Friday for replies and responses in DB #8). These are intended to be scholarly dialogues and for each thread, the student must support his/her assertions with proper scholarly support in APA format with sources listed as References at the end of the post.

This course utilizes the Post-First feature in all Discussion Board Forums. This means you will only be able to read and interact with your classmates’ threads after you have submitted your thread in response to the provided prompt.

AVIA 435 Case Study

The student will complete a 3–5 page Case Study on an assigned CRJ accident/incident. Current APA format will be required.

AVIA 435 Video Presentation

The student will prepare an 8–10 minute video briefing/presentation on one of several selected topics. The presentation must be supplemented/supported by either a PowerPoint presentation, whiteboard usage or other visual aids.

AVIA 435 Exams (3)

The student will complete 3 Exams in this course. All exams will be open-book/open-notes and contain 40 multiple-choice and true/false questions and 1 essay. The allotted time for each quiz is 2 hours.
