DMIN 820 Discussion Board Forums (2)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 1 other classmate's threads. Each reply must be 200 words.

DMIN 820 Kuhne’s Seven Questions

The student will reply to 7 research questions in at least 1 paragraph each that is related to his/her research project.

DMIN 820 Literature Matrix (4)

The student will create 4 literature matrices, building upon the previous module/week’s submission, adding 5 source related to the proposed topic per module/week.

DMIN 820 Revised Problem, Purpose, and Thesis Statements

The student will resubmit the original problem statement from Discussion Board Forum 1 but with revisions per instructor feedback.

DMIN 820 Self-Selected Bibliographies

The student will read 2 books related to his/her proposed thesis topic and will report the bibliographic information on each. The student will submit the citation information for the 2 books that he or she chooses to read.

DMIN 820 My Learning Journal (2)

The student will respond to a prompt and will complete a reflective journal based upon it. The response must be at least 400 words.

DMIN 820 Instructor Conference Report

Submit a 1 page report based upon a 30–60 minute conversation with your instructor regarding the thesis project, problem / purpose / thesis statements and review of literature and methodology.

DMIN 820 Review of Literature Analysis

The student will analyze a typical review of literature sample and analyze the content and structure.

DMIN 820 Problem, Purpose, and Thesis and Review of Literature Draft

The student will submit his/her Problem, Purpose, and Thesis statements along with his/her initial Review of Literature draft based upon his/her Literature Matrix findings. The Review of Literature draft must be 10 pages.

DMIN 820 Review of Literature

The student will submit a 10+ page double-spaced Review of Literature containing multiple sources from the matrix. The submission will include a properly formatted thesis template, and revised and augmented Statements in Chapter 1 as well as a Turabian formatted Review of Literature section with subheadings as needed, and a Bibliography page.

DMIN 820 Self-Selected Annotated Bibliography

The student will compose an annotated bibliography of the two books he/she self-selected for this course and for his/her research topic. For each source, the student must provide the complete bibliographic information in current Turabian format, followed by 250 words that serve to summarize the source, and what it will accomplish in his/her paper.

DMIN 820 Memo to Myself

The student will evaluate and reflect upon his/her understanding of the requirement for completing a DMIN thesis project.

DMIN 820 Quiz

The quiz will cover the DMIN Handbook material. The quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice, true/false, and short answer questions, and has a 1-hour time limit.
