Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be a minimum of 400 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be a minimum of 200 words.

The student will write a 3,600–4,500-word research paper on the topic of spirituality in chaplain healthcare. The paper will be in current Turabian formatting and include 10 scholarly sources.
CHPL 681 Philosophy of Healthcare Chaplaincy
The student will write a 1,500–2,100-word personal philosophy of chaplain evangelism paper in proper Turabian formatting. The paper must include 5 scholarly references along with the textbooks and the Bible.
CHPL 681 Book Review
The student will write a 1,500–2,000-word book review in current Turabian formatting on a book within the field of healthcare chaplaincy.
CHPL 681 Healthcare Chaplaincy Toolbox
The student will write an 800–1,000-word essay describing resources he/she deems necessary for review and reference. Additionally, the student will need to develop a contact roster of local churches.
CHPL 681 Verbatim Case Conference
The student will be provided a verbatim by the instructor and will respond to the contents within in a 600–900-word reflection paper and include 3 references.
CHPL 681 Essay Exams (2)
Each exam will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned modules/weeks. Each exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain 5 essay questions, and have a 75-minute time limit.
