BUSI 335 Discussion Board Forums (4)
Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. As a result, additional replies and/or longer threads are highly encouraged as this adds to the discussion. While writing must be in the third person, life examples are also encouraged.
Thread (4)
The student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 400 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. Each thread must contain a citation from at least 1 peer-reviewed article and 1 citation from 1 of the textbooks in current APA format.
Replies (4)
In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 3 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words and must contain at least 1 citation from either a peer-reviewed journal article or 1 of the textbooks in current APA format.
BUSI 335 Case Studies (3)
During weeks 2, 4, & 6, students will be required to read the assigned textbook Case Study (noted on the Case Study Prompt attachment). Each Case Study must then be answered thoroughly via questions proposed by the instructor in current APA format including a title page; however, an abstract is not required (page length will vary based upon the Case Study requirements). The Case Study must include at least 2 peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to the course textbook and the Bible.
BUSI 335 Faith and Leading Change Essay
Students will be required to write a 1,000-word research-based essay in current APA format that focuses on the integration of faith and leading change. The essay must include a title page and at least 2 peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to the course textbook and the Bible. The essay must also show at least 1 example of a leader who successfully navigated a company through a period of change and at least 1 example of a leader who did not successfully navigate a company through a period of change.
BUSI 335 Connect Quizzes (4)
During weeks 1, 3, 5, & 7, students will be required to complete a quiz accessed on the Connect platform. Each timed quiz will consist of 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions. It is recommended that students review the chapter readings for the respective week prior to completing the quiz.

Each week, students will have the ability to spend extra time reading and studying a chapter (via LearnSmart on Connect) during its respective week. Each full completion of these LearnSmart assignments will be tallied as extra credit points at the end of the course. These assignments are not required.
