Thread
The student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 300–500 words, demonstrate course-related knowledge using the course reading materials and appropriate Scripture. At least 3 references from the Hughes & Hughes text must be included.
Replies
In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must include scriptural support and personal insights and must be at least 150 words.
CLED 325 Five-Year Personal Growth Plan
The student will write a 3–4-page paper in current Turabian format that focuses on a detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly plan relating to life and ministry. The paper will also include a plan to read 10 books and memorize 70 Scriptures.
CLED 325 Family in Ministry Paper
The student will write a 5–7-page paper in current Turabian format that describes his/her philosophy of balancing family and ministry priorities. The paper must incorporate insights from the Fernando textbook, as well as relevant Scripture in order to support the student’s thoughts and ideas.
CLED 325 Ministry Leader Interview Paper
The student will write a 3–5-page paper in current Turabian format that includes a transcript and summary of an interview with a vocational ministry leader (full-time or bi-vocational)—such as a pastor, church staff member, camp director, denominational leader, etc. In addition to the provided questions, the student must create at least 5 additional questions for the interviewee to address.
CLED 325 Book Analysis
The student will write a 5–7-page paper in current Turabian format that focuses on an analysis of the Hughes’ textbook. The paper must include the following sections: summary, strength analysis, weakness analysis, favorite quotes, and personal reflection.
CLED 325 Quizzes (3)
Each quiz will cover the Reading & Study material for the specified modules/weeks. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a 1-hour time limit.
