BIOM 500 Discussion Board Forums (2)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 1000 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 200–250 words.

BIOM 500 Assignments (8)

The student will give detailed and well-constructed responses to the assigned scientific writing topics for each week according to specific outlines provided. The length of each writing will be specified for each week.

BIOM 500 Video Presentation (1)

As the last project for this course, the student will produce a 20–25-minute teaching video on what he/she has learned from so far about the Molecular Basis of Cancer.

BIOM 500 Quizzes (8)

Each quiz will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned modules/weeks. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 11–20 multiple-choice questions, and have a 20-minute time limit. Quiz time overruns will incur a 1-point deduction per minute over the set quiz time.
