AVIA 355 Class Introductions

The purpose of the Class Introductions are for students to get to know their classmates. Students will read their classmates’ posts, get to know them, and say their friendly hellos to a minimum of 2 classmates.

AVIA 355 Discussion Board Forums (7)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 400–500 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to at least 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words in length.

AVIA 355 Airline Profile Paper

The student will submit a 5-page paper, profiling an air carrier of choice. The profile will frame the carrier’s market, service characteristics, regulatory oversight, alliances and codesharing partners, fleet structure, and corporate culture. The paper is expected to be a minimum of 5 pages, double spaced, in full APA format with a minimum of 4 sources (one of which must be the course text).

AVIA 355 Exams (3)

The student will complete 3 exams in this course. Each exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice questions, and have a 50-minute time limit.
