Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 500 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student will reply to the threads of at least 2 classmates. Each reply must be at least 200 words.

BIOM 615 Group Discussion Board Forums (2)

For this collaborative discussion board, the instructor will place the student into a group at the beginning of the course. The student will create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 500 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student will reply to the threads of at least 2 classmates. Each reply must be at least 200 words.

BIOM 615 Case Study Presentation

The student will create a professional PowerPoint presentation of at least 15 slides that reviews his or her selected case study of a disorder or disease not previously discussed in the course. The presentation must include a final slide, not included in the 15-slide count, listing at least 10 references in addition to the course textbook and the Bible. The reference slide must be in current APA format. The student will also write an abstract of his or her presentation. The abstract must be no more than 350 words.

BIOM 615 Exams (4)

Each exam will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned modules/weeks. Each exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain 50 multiple-choice and/or matching questions, and have a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
