MUSC 630 Discussion Board Forums (2)
Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 250–300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be a minimum of 150 words.
MUSC 630 Tutorials (9)
The student will use the Reading & Study Tutorial presentations to submit his/her own completed tutorials in Finale format. Each video tutorial presentation will outline the process and provide a template for completing the corresponding tutorial assignment.
MUSC 630 Digital Audio Worksheet
The student will research terminology commonly used by worship leaders and complete a provided worksheet to learn more about the technical equipment available to him/her as a worship leader.
MUSC 630 Projects (4)
The student will submit 4 projects that will be completed after the specified tutorials are completed: (1) Lead Sheet, (2) Piano Vocal Chart, (3) Praise Band Chart, (4) Full Orchestration. Each project must be completed in Finale format.
MUSC 630 Digital Audio Quiz
The quiz will cover the Digital Audio Worksheet in Module/Week 1. The quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 20 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a 45-minute time limit.
MUSC 630 Setup Preferences Quiz
The quiz will cover the Reading & Study presentation material in Module/Week 1. The quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 5 multiple-choice or true/false questions, and have a 30-minute time limit.
MUSC 630 Midterm Exam
The Midterm Exam will contain 1 question. For this question, students will be given an audio example and will be asked to create a fully-realized Finale chart based on work that has been done up to the midterm. The midterm will consist of 1 question and have a 2-hour time limit.
MUSC 630 Final Exam
The Final Exam will contain a written portion as well as a Finale portion. The written portion will be an essay reflection based on the student’s findings in the discussion board. For the Finale portion, the student will be given an audio example and will be asked to create a fully realized Finale chart based on work that has been done during the course. The entire exam will have a 2-hour time limit.
