Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be at least 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge, and integrate at least 1 biblical principle. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 100 words.

AVIA 210 Presentation – Emergencies

Students are to use what they learned within Phase 3 Lesson 4 of the Cessna/King Schools web-based course and prepare a powerpoint presentation on any emergency situation. This could be an emergency that really happened or a made up scenario. The objective is for this to be a learning experience for the viewer of the powerpoint. This powerpoint will be narrated by the student or a clearly written explainations in each slide. The project should be at least 4 slides including the following: Define the emergency and the appropriate in flight actions needed, as well as any post flight action required (if any). The slides should contain personal ideas on how to handle the particular emergency. This assignment will be submitted to Blackboard.

Each quiz will cover the Reading & Study material for the assigned modules/weeks. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 20 multiple-choice and/or true/false questions, 2 essay questions, and have a 1-hour and 30-minute time limit.
