Skillet Pizza Chicken


Ingredients

Serves 4


1 lb (453 gr) chicken breast, sliced into strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup tomato sauce

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)


Directions


Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until it starts to brown.

Add tomato sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Give a good stir, cover, and cook for 10 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.

Stir, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, cover and cook for a couple of minutes or until the mozzarella has melted.

Sprinkle with more oregano and serve!
