Green Tea Lemonade

Green Tea Lemonade

Ingredients

Serves 8

2 cups boiling water

¾ cup sugar (I used coconut sugar)

4 bags green tea

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

4 cups cold water

Ice to taste

Directions

Place boiling water in a large bowl. Add tea bags and sugar and allow to steep for 10 minutes.

Discard tea bags and give a good stir, making sure that sugar has completely dissolved.

Add lemon juice and cold water and stir well.

Take a taste and if it’s too tart add more sugar to taste.

Strain into a large pitcher and refrigerate (if you like your lemonade with the pulp, don’t strain it.)

When ready to serve, pour into ice filled glasses garnished with a couple of lemon slices and a mint sprig.
