Green Protein Smoothie


Ingredients

1 banana (
better frozen)

2 handfuls fresh spinach or kale (de-stemmed)

1 cup / 250ml pineapple juice

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use vegan/was protein protein powder)

1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)

1 teaspoon bee pollen (optional)

pinch of spirulina

½ cup / 125ml crushed ice


Note: feel free to add extra protein powder to get further amino-acids.


Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, making sure that the spinach sits at the bottom (this will facilitate the blending process). Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glass and top with a teaspoon of chia seeds.
