Parmesan Lemon Crispy Broccoli

Ingredients

Serves 4 as a side

2 large head of broccoli, cut into bite-size florets

1 teaspoon fine grain salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ teaspoon sweet paprika

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 garlic cloves, skin on smashed with the side of a knife

1 lemon, sliced into rounds

4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a rack in the middle.

Lightly grease a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and spread broccoli florets in one layer.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then toss gently.

Arrange smashed garlic cloves and lemon wedges in the baking sheet.

Roast for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and bake for 3 more minutes, or until the cheese starts to melt.

Remove from the oven, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve!
