Season Summary
The Minooka varsity softball team's 2025 season had plenty of highlights.
On March 29, Addisonn Crumbly hit three home runs -- which included a grand slam -- in a win over Providence. Crumbly would eventuall lead the team in home runs with 11.
Against Joliet Catholic on April 8, senior Gracie Anderson made a diving play to tag out an Angel player caught in a rundown between third and home to end the game with a 2-1 victory.
Minooka would put up plenty of big hits throughout the season, particularly home runs, which tallied 32 by season's end.
Minooka would finish 7th in the WJOL tournament early in April. However, toward the end of the month they would hit a hot streak where they went 12-2.
They were in the running to win the SPC until a few losses right at the end of the season gave it to Oswego, who would go on to win the state championship. Minooka would finish 2nd in the conference as the regular season wound down.
In the playoffs, Minooka start off strong with two wins to take the regional title. However, a loss to eventual Elite Eight team Bradley-Bourbonnais in the sectional semifinals ended the girls' season.
