Following up a rough start to their 2005 season in losing four of their first six meets, Mallory Carr responded in a way to win their next three of four meets. Sophomore Carr was the medalist a number of times for the team. The team then placed 4th in the SPC Championship near the end of the season, while Carr placed 3rd and was an all-conference athlete. The team had two new coaches in Brian Petrovic and Chris Underhill.
