The 1996 Minooka varsity baseball team had an incredible season. They started off strong with a combined no-hitter against Reed Custer early in the season.  Ranked high in the state, they won the conference, with their only conference loss came to Plainfield in one of their final games of the season.  Joe Giarrante was named conference player of the year.
