The Athletics Archives of Minooka Community High School is an attempt to preserve the histories of the many teams of MCHS. This is an ongoing project, and we have only scratched the surface at this point. It is projected to take maybe a decade to complete.

Beginning in the fall of 2018, students the Sports Media classes at MCHS began researching and archiving information about Minooka teams. Students in Media and Journalism classes also contributed.

Sources used include MCHS yearbooks, student newspapers, local newspapers, MaxPreps.com, IHSA.org, coaches, and the MCHS Athletic Office and its many files and publications. In some cases we only archived the information we had available, often just from the student newspaper and yearbook.

Every effort has been made to record accurate information. However, in several cases, we found that information was not available, had been recorded incorrectly, or had various discrepancies. For example, for a particular season of a team, we found that the overall season record was listed four different ways in four different places: IHSA.org, the school yearbook, MaxPreps.com, and a local newspaper. In cases like that, we either did math ourselves or used the record we felt was most accurate.
