2018 Girls Tennis

The members of the 2018 varsity girls tennis team include (front row) McKenna O’Donnell, Marlo Scholtes, Olivia Solis; (second row) Liana Lopez, Cierra Bachmann, Kacie Moore, Isabelle Figarelli; (third row) Daisy Delatorre, head coach Julia Easter, and Alyssa Taylor.

Overall Record 10-1

Conference Record 7-1

The 2018 girls tennis team went undefeated except for the one loss they received near the end of the season. They did this without most of the home tennis courts, as the ones at the north end of Central Campus were being renovated the entire season. Three players make their way all the way to state: Annabelle Siegel, Kacie Moore, and Izzy Figarelli. Siegel managed to break the school record for games won at state, winning three games and placing in the top 12 singles. Siegel is also the first freshman to achieve something like this. Even though they did not win any major competitions, they did place third in conference and sectionals and placed 23rd overall in the state.
