The biggest highlight of the year for the 2001-02 boys cross country team was when they found out they qualified for sectionals. They finished 5th at the regional at Phillips Park in Aurora, which was good enough to advance. The team's star runner was Todd Fonck. He was given Most Valuable Runner by coach Kevin Gummerson.
